Happy International Women's Day!
Last year, for Women's History Month, we profiled eight Asian American women from the mid-19th century through today, who had achieved great, or even just interesting, things. So we're going to do it again this year!
Over the next few weeks of March, we'll be profiling interesting and accomplished Asian American women of the past and present. Please make suggestions in the comments of women you'd like to see profiled! And please feel free to profile women on your blog and drop us a link in comments!
We're looking not just for East Asian American women, but also South Asian, Southeast Asian, and Central Asian American women. And we're not just looking for writers, musicians, and artists, either. We want athletes, scientists, businesswomen, inventors, politicians, adventurers, etc., etc.!
So suggest away and we'll get this party started!
Keep on keepin' on with our latest edition, featuring World War II internment camp survivors on the cover.
The previous issue of Hyphen is available in its entirety for your perusing pleasure. Almost as good as having it right in your hands!
