Hyphen Wins Flame of Justice Award

June 20, 2008

All of us at Hyphen thank CAA for recognizing our work and for its continued support. Hyphen is an all-volunteer organization, and as I said in the speech at the dinner, this award goes to all the contributors and staff members over the last five years who have made Hyphen what it is today, and what it will be in the future.

We'll continue to do what CAA is honoring us for: be a voice for progressive Asian Americans that will cover social justice issues and uncover the variety that makes up Asian America. We've done some great stuff over the last five years. There's more to be done, and getting this honor, I know we can do it.

You can see more pictures from the dinner at the Westin St. Francis courtesy of John C. Liau, and read about the awards in AsianWeek and in the Road Trip Issue of Hyphen, due out in August.
