Karissa Chen is a fiction writer living in New Jersey. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in PindeldybozKartika Review, Monkeybicycle, and Necessary Fiction, among others. She was recently the recipient of the diFilipis-Rosselli Scholarship at the Napa Valley Writers Conference. She received her MFA in Fiction from Sarah Lawrence College. She coordinates and facilitates creative writing workshops for incarcerated young men in Valhalla, New York.
