On the music side of things, we wish safe travels to Hyphen contributors and friends Goh Nakamura and The Invisible Cities, who are on their first tour together. They're calling it the Follow Your Whim tour. Why? Because on a whim they bought the Jet Blue $599 all-you-can-fly-for-a-month pass. Every weekend they'll be in a different city (or two or three) playing wherever people will listen. Admittedly, they put this tour together kind of backwards, booking plane tickets first before booking gigs. But it looks like it's all worked out and they've found stores, cafes and homes to play.
The tour kicked off last night at the GR/Eats restaurant in LA. Today they'll hit Houston, tomorrow Austin. Seattle, Chicago and New York are stops coming up later this month. Check out the tour schedule at FollowYourWhim.com
