Brock Lesner and GSP may have had the headlines this past weekend, but the real MMA action was on Wall Street. Maybe some of you guys have seen this going around on the interwebs. It's a confrontation between a Korean American dude and some drunk fool.

Wall Street Fighter

It appears the Korean American dude pulls guard, attempts a sweep, goes for a triangle choke before getting side control and then full mount.
Pretty sweet If you ask me. But wait. According to the blurb posted with the video:
"Some crazy drunk guy attacked me on Wall Street late at night. He threw a punch at me so I punched him down to the ground in self defense. He followed me back to my building and attacked me again inside, which is caught on tape. I used BJJ to neutralize him until the police came... In addition to being an MMA enthusiast, I'm also an attorney. Bad luck for him."
Aw crap. So the hero is an East Asian guy who is good at martial arts and is also a lawyer? If this were a Hollywood movie the Youtube video would end with him giving Mira Sorvino an awkward hug. Why is it when we're breaking stereotypes we're still in the stereotypes. Damn you, Model Minority.

HAHAHA, this article is hilarious! Especially the Mira Sorvino part. This is the asian guy from the video. My name's Stephen. I guess I do kind of fit the stereotype. But in my defense, I used boxing taught to me by an old irish priest and brazilian grappling. Next time this happens I'll try to get a flying side kick in somehow.
