Dollar Store Finds: Tiny Mayo Container
Oh my cuteness! This week's items are the two little containers to the right of the watch (which is just there to help convey size.) Those little tabs sticking out front are actually tiny utensils for spreading condiments. The packaging says they are mayo containers. Being more of a mustard person, I tested these out by packing one of them full of mustard along with my sandwich to take to work. I guess the photo would be more accurate if it showed happy sandwiches instead of fruit and yasai (that's veggies in Japanese).
I am sad to report that the container was not always that reliable. Sometimes it didn't remain shut. Also, I grew tired of washing such a small container, which is surprisingly not that easy to do. I just ended up bringing a bottle of mustard to keep at work.
Still, it could make a nice little container for something else, sans the spreader. Pill box? Ring box? A place to keep your kid's baby teeth? Really, does it need to have a practical use when it's so cute and small? Yasai!
