LA Times Spotlights 'Playa' Jimmy Tsai
As you gear up for Friday's release of Jessica Yu's "Ping Pong Playa" and the Hyphen sponsored afterparty on September 6, check out this Los Angeles Times piece on the film's leading man Jimmy Tsai.

The Taiwanese American, UC Berkeley grad from Houston talks a bit on how the character of Christopher "C-Dub" Wang evolved from a character in a series of online shorts to the protagonist of a feature length comedy that seems to be picking up a lot of buzz. Could "Ping Pong Playa" be the next great indie hit? Like "Blair Witch Project" without the nausea, "Juno" without the teen pregnancy, or "Napoleon Dynamite" with a point?

Good luck to Tsai, Yu, and the rest of the "Playa" team. Here's hoping that great ticket sales this weekend lead to a wider release.
