The Center for Asian American Media has teamed up with Toyota Matrix to look for six emerging storytellers who can explore ideas of activity and movement by putting together a 4 - 7 minute piece in any film/video genre. The deadline is next Monday, June 23, 2008 and the grand prize is a HD video camera.

And Kearny Street Workshop, the nation's oldest multidisciplinary Asian Pacific American arts organization, is accepting APAture submissions in all disciplines! Visual arts, performing arts, music/sound, literary arts, film/video, and printed material (comics, zines, etc.), you name it. Artists submitting to APAture should submit either finished works or specific, thoroughly written proposals to create new works. APAture values community-building, ethnic and artistic diversity, and collaboration across ethnic and disciplinary lines.
All materials must be received by Thursday, July 7.
