i know that if i were ever to get the double eyelid surgery done, it would simply be because i want more "area" to be able to put on my make up. you see women in sephora ads with like 5 or 6 shades on their eyelids and you can't do that when you have a single fold! but bottom line is, if you are trying to look more sephora like, who uses caucasian models most of the time, then yeah, i guess there's that whole euro-centric thing about it. my friend's mother urges her to do it all the time. i don't know why parents would do that to their kids. it's like i love you, but you're just not good enough.
