Biden has 7-Eleven Gaffe About Indian Americans
Hyphen advisory board member and blogger Sonny Le alerted us to this video of Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden, a presidential candidate, talking to Indan American supporters and making reference to 7-Eleven and Dunkin Donuts. Doh!
Sen. Biden:
"I've had a great relationship [with Indians]... You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent."
Apparently, there's a pattern of this among Democratic senators, according to the Times of India.

I hate to say it, but Indians do work at some 7 elevens and own love Motels. Dounut shop to.
Well, it's true here in Delaware. Practically every DD shop is run by recent indian immigrants and their relatives. I don't think that's a good thing because they're not hiring Americans and they're reversing the strides that indian immigrants of a previous generation made in Delaware. They were doctors, engineers, teachers, etc. but for Biden to make a remark about Dunkin Donuts is simply a huge class/caste gaffe to make to some well-off potential donors.
Dark skinned Asians are getting blasted in the media. Why is that?
