Things are looking good for Jun Choi, who's likely to become the next mayor of Edison, NJ, racist crap not withstanding. Read about it here: "Choi's primary win signals emerging diversity in Edison."
Down in my native country, Jennifer Kim wins a city council seat in Austin, TX. She's the first Asian American and the youngest person ever to serve on the council. She's only 23! Talk about overacheiver.
And librarians everywhere rejoice. House votes down parts of the Patriot Act.
